Each session is 50 minutes and costs £50.

I offer private face to face appointments at a local community hub in Gosport. I also offer phone appointments and online appointments through Microsoft Teams.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. If less than 48 hours' notice full payment will be required although, I will try to reschedule. Payment will not be required in exceptional circumstances at counsellors' discretion

We will initially discuss and sign the contract. I will then ask you what brings you here today, we will then talk about you and your story and what you would like to discuss. I will listen without judgement and offer empathy, accepting you as you are.

The number of sessions required are completely up to you, there are no set amount required.

Typically, weekly but this can be adjusted to suit you

I will give you the time and space to tell your story in your own way, and we will build a relationship which allows you to feel comfortable to do this.

Some areas I specialise in are - grief and loss, life transitions (big changes in your life), anxiety and worry, depression and low energy, boundary setting, self-esteem.

I am person-centred counsellor, which is a non-directive humanistic approach where I believe you are an expert on your own life. I will offer unconditional positive regard, I will accept and value you. I will be honest and show empathy and understanding, together we will explore your issues.

We can have a free 15-minute phone call to see if you feel that we can work together. If you feel that we are not a good fit, I can try to signpost you to other types of counselling or help you to find other support.

Yes. However, if I have a concern that you may harm yourself or other people, or I am concerned about the safety of a child or children. There is a legal requirement such as an admission of an act of terrorism or money laundering. I would then be required to break confidentiality to a third party in order for you to be able to get the support that you need, this is in line with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I will treat all of your information in confidence, all contact details and case notes are kept in a secure location for up to seven years and then destroyed. I am a registered member of the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
